Community Impact

At Art Ink Collective, we believe tattooing can be a meaningful practice of care, healing, and self-expression. We are committed to supporting individuals and communities who use tattooing as a way to reclaim their bodies and narratives after experiences of trauma, transition, or social marginalization.

We offer community-focused tattoo services for members of the 2S/LGBTQIA+ community—particularly transgender and gender-diverse individuals—seeking to embellish or integrate scars related to transition. We also work with women and gender-diverse cancer survivors who wish to restore or reimagine their bodies following mastectomy or other medical procedures.

Our work extends to asylum seekers and refugees who may want to cover or transform scars or tattoos connected to displacement or violence, as well as individuals re-entering society after incarceration who are seeking to rework tattoos tied to past affiliations.

All consultations are confidential and approached with care, respect, and consent. If you feel our work could support you, we invite you to reach out to explore how we can work together in ways that are affirming and empowering.

If you feel compelled to be a part of this project, we warmly invite you to reach out to us—your involvement would mean so much.
